To make the HyperJar Kids card as safe and secure as possible, we are obliged to block merchant types which are legally not age-appropriate for children. This includes, for example, merchants that sell alcohol, tobacco or cigarettes.
This means that transactions with the Kids Cards at off-licences (even if they are selling chocolates and soft drinks to children) will be rejected. However, spends at supermarkets and convenience stores will be accepted.
If you believe a particular merchant has been wrongly classified, and therefore cannot accept spends from the HyperJar Kids Card, please let the merchant know.
