HyperJar Prize Draws & Competitions

General Terms

These are the terms and conditions for HyperJar prize draws and competitions and should be read together with rules of entry (the ‘Rules’) for the individual prize draw or competition which together are the terms which apply between the Promoter, HyperJar Limited, whose registered office is  71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ (‘us’, ‘we’, ‘our’) and the entrant (‘you, ‘your’).

There is no entry fee, and no purchase necessary to enter our prize draws and competitions. Data charges may apply, so you should check the terms and conditions of your internet or mobile service package. 

Prize draws and competitions will be made available to You via one of our Channels. These include the HyperJar App; and our social media assets on platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.

Who can enter

Any entry requirements will be included in the individual prize draw or competition rules.

We will use any personal information you provide in accordance with these terms and conditions and with our privacy policy.

HyperJar prize draws and competitions are not open to our employees or anyone associated with us, including members, directors, employees or agents of affiliated or subsidiary companies, their families or anyone else connected in any way with the prize draw.

Entrants must meet any minimum age requirements specified in the individual prize draw or competition rules. Entrants under the age of 16 must have the permission of their parent or guardian to enter.

How to enter/what we cannot accept

Please read the rules for the entry requirements and details of the formats required for entry.

Strictly only one entry per person is allowed to an individual prize draw or competition. Duplicate entries are invalid and will not be entered.

The opening and closing date for entries will be in the prize draw or competition rules. No entries will be accepted after the closing date.

No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received, for whatever reason.

Winners and prizes

The winner(s) and any runner(s)-up will be chosen at random. The prize details will be in the rules.

We reserve the right to withdraw, reduce or change the prize without notice. HyperJar is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this draw.

You may not give, or ask us to give your prize to someone else.

The winner(s)/runner-up will be notified within 14 days of the closing date by email; SMS; and/or phone call. If the winner(s) cannot be contacted within seven days of being told they have won, we can withdraw the prize from the winner(s)/runner-up and pick a replacement winner and/or runner-up.

Any tax payable as a result of a prize being awarded or received will be the responsibility of the winner(s) and runners-up. Winners should seek independent financial advice prior to accepting a prize if this is a concern.

Third-party Competitions

We may from time to time display competitions run by third parties. HyperJar is not in any way associated with these competition and takes no responsibility or liability for any instance associated with such competitions and prize draws. Third party competitions and prize draws are only displayed by Us or communicated to You by any means, for informational purposes as seem appropriate by Us.

Other terms

If you win, you permit us to use your name in any publicity material.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for loss or damage arising out of each winner’s acceptance, or enjoyment of their prize.

We reserve the right to cancel the prize draw or competition, or amend these terms and conditions without notice. Any cancellation or changes will be advised on and/or on our social media channels. Our decision in all aspects of the prize draw or competition will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

The prize draw and these terms and conditions are subject to the operation of English Law and the courts of England. The winner(s), runner(s)-up, or any other entrant’s personal data will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection law.
