Why do you charge for cards?

We charge £4.99 for physical adult cards to cover some of the costs of production and shipping. Virtual adult cards, which are available as soon as a new account is opened, remain free.

The good news is that all HyperJar accounts are assigned a virtual adult card as soon as they’re opened, which can be added to Apple Pay or Google Pay and used both online and instore anywhere that Apple Pay or Google Pay is accepted. If you want to save money and do your bit for the planet, stick to a virtual adult card.

Kids cards are also £4.99 and are only available as a physical card at the moment. If your child is 13+ they can add their HyperJar cards to Apple Pay or Google Pay.
